Some Mac game porters still can’t seem to get the basics right.

I recently downloaded the demo of the Mac version of Lego Star Wars. I have a message for the game’s publisher, Aspyr.

The demo ran fine, and the game was fun to play. But upon quitting the demo, it became clear that my other windows were alerted to the presence of your application’s screen resolution changes. My preexisting windows were all scrunched up in the corners of my screen.

What’s that? Oh, you felt surprise was wiser? Who needs to capture the display, right? Just quickly change the resolution and hope no other applications notice? Come on, Aspyr! We’ve talked about this, remember? Your application is as clumsy as it is stupid. General, prepare your troops for a surface attack…
